Sui NS: Simple Style Guide

Sui Name Service (SuiNS) is a decentralized naming system built on the Sui blockchain. It allows users to create and manage human-readable identifiers linked to Sui accounts. This simplifies common web3 interactions, such as sending assets or conducting transactions, by replacing lengthy blockchain addresses with easily recognizable names, making them easier to verify and trust.

Name services facilitate the creation and ownership of on-chain identities. The SuiNS team sought to design a new logo along with a simple style guide to inform visual updates for their website and marketing materials, scheduled to launch in 2024. Inspired by the snake-like “S” from the original logo, the new design draws cues from network cables, text input fields, and “Hello, My Name is…” stickers commonly distributed at conferences. The typeface Inter, which aligns with Sui’s primary branding, was chosen to maintain a visual connection to the network identity.
